Well, it's back to daily routines so yesterday I had my injection on my right knee for the pain but I go back on the 2nd and 9th of July for the second and third injection for a series on one knee. I have never been so glad for summer to arrive and it comes Friday! The short pants, T-Shirts, halter tops and hot pants for the ladies are already showing up in the malls, Wal-Mart and other stores I visited this past week. The show of tattoos are in full view, men and women, this year. It's just a matter of how much sunshine we get before we get to see all the Sun Tans and many more tattoos I imagine. The basketball players all seem to be cover with tattoos all over.

Dusti, I can see much better all around and my computer too but I need the reading glasses a little less than 250 to read small print and numbers like on my credit cards. I got a pair at Wal-Mart for 9.88, not bad for reading glasses I think! The VA did the surgery and a couple of my Wal-Mart coffee gang in McDonald's said they got the surgery at the Lasik place for a couple thousands. I been wearing glasses since a teenager.

Tomorrow the service man comes to my house, mobile service, to repair the two back windows in my SUV so they can roll up/down again. I will need them this summer and my car is ten years old now so it's time things stop working and in this case I need motors to operate the two windows so they will work again especially when I got folks riding in the back seat. People tell me my car doesn't look like it's ten years old but it is and a Ford Explorer XLT at that.

Trying to get my grass to grow back in the front yard to cover the bald spots that has been looking so darn bad for some time now. We are finally getting a few drops of rain some days while at times the drought is still upon us here in central Texas. I'm trying hard not to buy more grass to put down since my yard is not the worse looking one.

Well guys, I'm back home today with both eyes now done. The cataracts are gone, the lens are in, I'm dropping meds in both eyes and hopefully by Tuesday of next week I hope to be able to see clearly on any day or night. My follow up appointment is next Wednesday morning with a dental visit afterwards. OK, we just had the floors titled in each bathroom, the kitchen and both the front doorway and the garage doorway entries into the house. Well, the left eye was such a success in removing the cataract I decided to go ahead and do the right eye on the 16th of May at the VA. I can really see so much better it's astonishing to me. And if I put my glasses on they are so strong it takes my sight in the left eye away. I may not even need glasses anymore after the right eye is corrected if I continue to see this clearly when both are done. Then age is not on my side so I must do this now I'm not getting any younger each day.

Today's appointment revealed my next surgery appointment for the Right eye this time to remove the cataract and put in the lens so I have equal vision in both eyes. The doctor will do it on 16 May with a preopt on 13 May which is next month. She didn't know last week when she would do it because her schedule is full all the time by having only one eye surgeon at this VA. I will not be as scared this time around and the procedure is not what I had in mine and was afraid to ask. My first thoughts
I appreciated all the prayers you all said for me. My God heard each of you and so far I can see so much better in both eyes although the doctor only operated on my Left eye for now. There is a chance I may not need the Right eye operated on for awhile! The Left eye came out better than she expected in correcting my vision. She said to me if I had gotten this done a few years ago I may not have needed glasses as strong as I got now.

Today is the first day of the week my operation will be performed this Thursday on my Left eye at the VA eye clinic. This is new ground for me dealing with my eyes so I will pray and hope for the best outcome at my age.
