Insurance Companies

I have just recieved another packet of forms from the Insurance Company, some for me to fill out and a set for my doctor...lovely.... One question on this form asks: "What do you specifically do from the time you arise in the morning until you retire at night? Well HOW specific do they actually want...how many cups of coffe, how many trips to the bathroom.... okay I am a bit frustrated with this form and should not try to tackle the whole thing at once....do they want to know if I changed

New little girl

Well our new little, and I do mean little (barely 5 ponds) girl is settling in. She is currently on my lap as I type... Her name is Alyese but I think I want to change it..I have heard that if you change a dogs name they will not associate some of the "bad" things they have gone through... she has taken off twice, once on me and last night John had her out..she stays with him in the back fields, but he took her up front and up the driveway she went..he can at least run...she made a left turn

CRAZY

Well I guess John & I are a little "crazy" we have just added another four legged member to our family. I have a girlfriend that has a lot of health issues and 3 children. She adopted this little toy fox terrier 2 yrs. ago. She had some issues when Terri got her, she was not housebroken and she is hyper....Terii has not housetrained her and her husband is getting quite upset, so she has been tied out side or kenneled quite a bit. She said her husband is getting frustrated with the dog

This is the second time in a few months the vacuum cleaner belt broke....   I went to the vacuum cleaner shop and I bought both belts (one for the self propelled part) figured if I have to change one might as well do both.   well the first time it took about three hours and a lot of @@##** words but I got them changed..... we don't have any close neighbors and the dogs ran outside..LOL   Last week the belt broke again....so my husband stopped they said oh, well we have a heavier duty be

Finally sinking in

Well I am a little over 2 yrs post stroke...I think John is finally realizing that I am no longer "super woman" and have some residual deficits.... He will tell me to remind hom of "something" remind me I have the water on, watering the plants so I don't forget to turn it off.... well I keep this in my mind a minute or two and then say "hey john, you have the water on for the plants..he looks at me and laughs...I said well I reminded you, so now you can't say I didn't we get a laugh out of

Introduction

Hi all ...I am a survivor in more ways than one....it has been hard being the "patient" as I have always been the "caregiver" the strong one. I lost my son at age 6 after 18 months of cancer (neuroblastoma) in 1972. My former husband had kidney problems and ended up on dialysis..I ran the dialysis machine at home for a little over a year. There was no kidney center near us..closest was 2 hours away so they taught me to do it....I was a widow at 30 with a teenage daughter. I was a level A pha
