I had not visited bingo buddy in her room before. Then She invited me to watch movies and ever since been eating meals with her in her room with her. Her room mate is discharged now so we agreed to request for me to move in her room. It would work out nicely for both of us. We are friends and she shared her tv when I was not given a cable box. So I went to admissions and asked for a room change but I was told social services my counselor did that and I would need to wait Until she comes in. I b
Last night I went to a conference at a hotel by the sea. I enjoyed the beautiful sunset over the ocean. I left the wheelchair in the corner and sat in a real comfy padded seat verry grateful for a soft seat. At the end of it there was a little reception with wine bar. I waited until everyone else went through the little buffet line so I could walk through with some help. I did it!! I thought I made a new4rđws friend but I have a person who follows me around calls at dawn and acts ill when I visit with others. I first thought she was nice but I feel spied on and I feel smothered. I play 99cards wifth a 93 yr old and often share food with her. I was surprised she watched from afar while I played cards with this friend. She just moved in the room of my friend here.I stopped by because This friend stays in her room. she is glam but hides. Bossynurse has been quite cheerful and on time with pain meds. On the other hand when I suffered another sudden drop in blood sugar after taking insulin,she said it was not that,it was taking pain meds without food. I had the list of symptoms for lo blood sugar. Orange juice fixed me. I talked to doc and he said I am on way too much long acting insulin. Oh those episodes are horrible. I feel emotional during them.
Effexor dose increased. Immodium is my bestie. I am going to adjust they say.

There is a woman in my room that isnt eating because of bad teeth. They took her to dentist but she wont open. She cant speak due to stroke. So she gets pureed food but refuses it. She nearly always drinks her milk and water. So I told cna to put soup in the milk glass. Cool of course. She drank 2 whole bowls of soup .No one could believe it. I am awakened all night for pain meds and vitals. I have given up make up and I generally feel sloppy. Well last night a woman cna was taking my blood pressure in the middle of the night.
