You are so right Fred, our first responers are hero, thank god for them. Hope all our members are safe and well. My friend hear from her family, thank goodness. It is great, that people have come together, that is the American way. I know it is going to be hard without power, and fallen trees, but they have they life which is the most inportant . thanks for your concern & prayers, we were fortunate with hurricane sandy this year no loss of power or any damage though lot of treees are down on the roads & power is out for many people.

Yes, my heart goes out to all those people and especially the ones who's homes burned to the ground. People had warnings but some just won't evacuate. A number of rescue workers, firemen and our Red Cross volunteers traveled there to help from our area. I'm sure other states will send their teams too.

One thing I heard a reporter say on TV was her husband had purchased a battery operated cell phone charger. I am going to go out and get one for us.

In chat, everyone from the area affected was safe, and I pray for those on this board and others who need help.

I think if you got a car charger you may not need to spend money on the battery charger!! In my case I'm home or in the car so I got those two ways to charge my cell phones! I had one charger hooked up to my scooter battery too that works great! I also got the 110volt charger that plugs into the cigarette plug to charge or run 110 volt items like a TV, laptop or other small appliances! It was used in my RV now I keep it in my car to inflate my tire if needed!!

Well Fred you made me check to see if I had a car charger for our phone. We changed phones this year and I did not get a new car charger. I need to get one or the other, so thanks.
