I agree with your attitude so much!   With Bob's massive stroke he could just as easily ended up dead.    But he didn't.   He got a new chance to live more days and make them count.   I am so happy to have him with me, and happy that he is a pleasant cheerful person that makes all we do so much easier.   We are definitely 'the glass is half FULL" people!

God Bless you for encouraging us!  I needed it too!  I am sure glad there is someone out there hoping too because I do have my downer days when things seem so much harder than on other days.  We survivors do have a second chance. Now sometimes can you believe that this stresses me out? Will I make it count?  I sure want to never waste a beautiful moment.  Even if it is just appreciating clean fresh sheets when I take a nap or the warm breeze in the blooming garden, I just never want to forget to remember these are moments that may be insignificant but no they are not because I am still here to love every minute of my life. And I hope you enjoy every minute with that beautiful little boy!  What a darling picture.

Great blog Lenny.  Yo are one of our cheerleaders here.  It is good to read a positive blog sometimes when life is tough, even now as a widow i need to see the positive side of life when I somehow lose sight of it.  Thanks for posting it.

My husband had a stroke may 10 2013, minor stroke, the day after rehab he started back drinking heavily I have stuck by him, he is unbearable at times, fortunately he was blessed and able to return to work within six months, I tell him all the time, how lucky he is. He cusses God all the time, whenever something don't go right.  He is kind to everyone but me, snaps over nothing, if I try to have any conversation at all.  I constantly walk on eggs, we have four dogs, and they run and hide when he starts his mouth. Also he moved to the spare bedroom, hurt my feelings, he runs me down all the time, I am very depressed, cause I thought this would wake him up.  He drank bad before his stroke, and was mean and hateful to me.  I don't know whether just leave, or what to do.  Thanks for listening.
