Ebb and flow of life

It is the 28th of November today. This morning I've been thinking of tides and change. Lately the only constant in my life seems to be change. I know, change is good, positive, growth encouraging, blah blah. I don't want to hear the platitudes, I'm bored by them all.

Back to change. I'm going to move. I'm giving up this apartment, it is too expensive. I'm going to move where I can get mass transportation. where I can afford to live, some place warm. New York state is to damn expensive.

Ok, enough justifying it. I can't stand depending on my parents, I hate the thought that they have any say in what I do each week. I have a major case of wanderlust. When will I ever grow up????? What image am I trying to create? Who am I? I do not have orange hair although I have remade myself over enough lately. I can't continue to keep changing personalities like I change my underwear. I'm loosing sight of who I am, and I hope I find what it is I'm searching for.

Well this has turned into a long ramble. Nuff said

Pam,

Change/moving is good but make damned sure you're doing it for the right reasons. If you're moving just to run away from something, be sure you really want to throw the baby out with the bath water when you do. Be sure that what you're running to is actually going to come with less complications, control and strings on your life than you've got now.

hey Pam:

wherever you move I hope uou get computer and internet connection. but wherever you move, you will be away from kids, I hope you have thought about that.

I really wish that they do something about transportation in suburbs.

Good luck with your change

Pam, Best wishes in what you decide. Just remember to give it much thought. I like to take a sheet of paper, divide it vertically and list reasons for on one half and reasons against on other side. Not only will this give you a time to spend much thought but writing it down will give you a chance to look it over again and again and perhaps change some things from one side to the other.

Most important though, make up your own mind and let NO ONE change it for you. There should be no place for "could- have's" or "should-have's".

Pam good luck in your decision to move, Arkansas is suppose to be a nonexpensive place to live, I wouldn't know, I have only lived here and nowhere else, but we have no mass public transportation. sad.gif Not fun- Tornadoes blew throughg our state yesterday, killed a couple of people:(.
