What a Wonderful world

No, I'm not turning into a cliche'. I'm listening to Eva Cassidy sing her version of the song. Eva Cassidy is someone I just discovered recently and I bought a CD of hers and couldn't be enjoying it more. The only things missing to go with the music is a dimly lighted smoke filled club located in a cellar in some building, that and love. Well that's another blog entry. I can't even recreate the atmosphere here in the house as I don't smoke in the house, but it isn't a bad idea to start. In researching Eva Cassidy, I found out she died in 1996, typical of me to miss out on her career while she was alive. It was typical of me not to be aware of anything outside of my pathetic pre stroke life. I have suddenly run out of words, I'm tired.

Hi Pam...I sing this song and people look at me like I'm nuts (maybe I am)

I have only heard the Louis Armstong version

I see trees of green, red roses too

I see them bloom for me and you

And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

I see skies of blue and clouds of white

The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night

And I think to myself, what a wonderful world

sometimes I change the words a bit but the meaning stays the same

I heard some folks mention blogs in chat and started looking around

I hope that you don't mind
