Yesterday Moonshine, Tonight a Shining Star

Yesterday I made my first entry. I didn't follow my instructions from Asha very closely. I wrote again and tried to remember everything I wrote and made the same mistake and lost my writings. It was an important day for my husband and I.

I saw a ray of sunshine and together we saw "Moonshine." I may write again about yesterday, another day.

Today is another day. I rcv'd that dreaded call of death. My Mom's husband Wally died at 4:00 pmtoday. He was a very good man. He was a wonderful husband to my Mother. We will all miss him dearly. My mother will be lost.

I Love You, Wally. :)

Please extend the sympathy of all in the blog community to your mother. Not everyone will reply to your blog but many will see it and be thinking of you. We are a close knit group here and do share each others joys and sorrows.

Welcome to the world of blogging, this is a special place to express some of those feelings we don't share with family and friends. I use mine to sort out some of my thoughts and feelings and document my struggle.

All blogs are special because they are a unique slice of our lives. This is where you will one day look back and think; "This time last year I was going through this? My, how far I have come."

Mary Jo,

Please extend my deepest symapthies to your mother and family. I'm sorry your introduction to blogging had to be such a sad one.

Welcome to the blogging community. You will find caring, helpful people here who would like to get to know you better and, through your blogs, hopefully they will. I have found the blogs to be a great way to celebrate when Jim makes some progress, or to vent a bit when I get frustrated, or to just talk when I need people who will understand.

Bless you and your family during this difficult time,

Betty Jean

Mary Jo,

Again, welcome here, and so sorry to hear of your loss. My parents died within a year of each other, and that was very difficult. Good friends and church family got me through. When my stroke hit a year later, these same people rallied around me, and then I found StrokeNet. This has been a wonderful place of encouragement for me. I am sure you will find that too.
