I sm proud of your accomplishment in the grocery store. I had the same feeling when I was able to get up from the toilet without pushing off. I strutted out of the bathroom like a proud peacock...of course, only another stroke survivor would understand how exciting this really is. My daughter didn't really understand.

Harley days! My husband owns and rides a motorcycle. He is a banker so it doesn't quite fit his image either but he loves it. I think it's the freedom of the wind and etc.

Hope you have a good week. The first year of my stroke I used to take a sleeping pill on Friday nights, too, so I could sleep late on Saturday. It worked.

Today I sleep well and no longer need.

Really enjoy your postings.

I love you....

I'm glad you weren't defeated by a head of lettuce and four tomatoes....

And I HATE Bob!!!!

Die, Bob, Die!

Did I get a little carried away there?

Hey there,

I checked to see if you had posted something and I was glad to see one. I can just imagine the struggle you had at the grocery and was happy to see how you worked around getting that plastic bag opened. Funny how those little things can be more difficult to accomplish than the big things sometimes!

Hope you have another good day today!

Love you lots

Mom

Fact is, those thin plastic bags can give anyone a hard time- me included. I think I've used that same trick before to get one opened. I really don't know if I would have been stubborn enough to fight with it that long, but maybe it's a family trait and I would have. Who knows? I'm proud of you for toughing it out. Maybe next time will be easier. I hope so for your sake--- and I still hate Bob!

another achievement under the belt. plastic bags which looks so harmless does give trouble in grocery shopping. I am so glad you persisted. I promise next time it will become easier. your pictures r way cool, I bet you broke lot of hearts while riding that bike of yours.
