    Today is the 2nd anniversary of my husband's stroke. Hard to imagine how our lives have changed since his stroke

      Today is the 6th anniversary of my husbands stroke and I totally forgot all about it. I guess this is now our new normal. Life is very different too but feel very blessed that he is here. Hang in there it will get better.

    Danielle1302 At age 49, my husband suffered a stroke while on a cruise to Bermuda. The stroke was caused by a dissection of the internal coratid artery. It has left him with severe apraxia and aphasia along with hemiparesis on the right side. His recovery has been a very slow process.
