  1. 93!! Deigh, you are amazing!! 💚👑
  2. Absolutely Heather. My plan is to visit each day, but so far that hasn't happened. This week... 💚👑
  3. Hope you are feeling better soon Deigh. Not sure about you or anyone else here, but these days if I'm sick, I'm in bed. Can't seem to struggle along like I used to. 💚👑
  4. Hello Mark! So good to be able to chat with you again! 💚👑
  5. Mark! Hello! I've missed you! 💚👑
  6. Oh how I've missed you all! So good to be able to share! 💚👑
  7. Oh yay! I've not been able to post for ages, must have been a problem with my phone... So glad to be here! I've missed you all!! 💚👑
  8. Thanks Deigh, challenge accepted! I think I have to get used to this strange sleep pattern, but it can be difficult when I want to do things that have set times, like church and volunteering at soup kitchen. 💚👑
  9. So my sleeping is all over the place. Awake until 3am, sleep until 12pm. Awake for an hour, afternoon nana nap until 5.30pm. And so it goes. Because of fatigue, I can function on 3 or 4 hours sleep and struggle through until bedtime. Has anyone got any ideas on how to get back to somewhat normal? My get up time should be 9.30am and bedtime 10.30pm 💚👑
  10. Willis! All this time I have had you in Florida? 💚👑
  11. WA really has been different to the rest of the world. We've only been wearing masks since beginning of March. As Deigh said about his walks, shouting to people across the road, it's different. I travel along our foreshore footpath all the time. Used to smile at people who were walking or riding bikes etc. Mask wearing has kind of taken friendliness away. You can see smiles, or hear a soft 'morning' with masks. Can't sit next to friends in church. Both of these things, simple as they are, have really changed the radiation of happiness. 💚👑
  12. Glad the meditation helps Asha. I really need to do something like this, to have my own time and space. 💚

  14. I'll see if I can download the song. Truly amazing. A young girl sang an original song on America's Got Talent. She has cancer. At the end of her performance, she said: You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore, before you decide to be happy. Wow. That is an incredible way at looking at life. 💚💚
  15. Heather I hope you got the acrylic bases too. Think I will. 💚👑
  16. Have you claimed your shelving Heather? My support co-ordinator said anything that makes my life easier...and I'm sure those baskets are life savers! Recently had all the knobs on our doors changed to handles. I can push down on the handle with my bad hand to open doors now. A huge improvement 💚👑

    surgery went good

Sometimes we don't value something until it's gone. Terrible living with strokes, I know, but you lovely ladies know the value of marriage and loving someone before it's too late. That's certainly a blessing in disguise. So glad Dan's surgery went well. 💚👑

    COVID

Well WA has finally caught up with the rest of the world. My town, at the moment, has 3 cases. Been wearing a mask for a couple of weeks...don't know how everyone has coped for a couple of years!! Mark, your covid experience is scary! Especially the tingling sensation. That always scares me, but to have that plus all the other symptoms... Willis you crack me up!! Two variants of covid like it's nothing!! Glad you are ok, you've definitely had more than your fair share. Hopefully no more for you! Becky hope you are ok! Sue and Heather, I'm sure WA is the butt of the east's jokes but that's all good. Keep being safe! People can think you are weird all they want, keep doing what's right for you! 💚👑
  19. When my dad made the lazy Susans for me, he made them in record time! Even though it's great that he does stuff for me, it can be better if there's distance between myself and the tradie, so I totally understand your decision to use someone else. I had a cover made for the bath, so the laundry baskets sit on top. No more bending to get them, or cleaning the bath out! Wayne is a cabinet maker by trade, but I (government) paid someone else to do it. That way I had total control over the colour, thickness and design. 💚👑
  20. Sue I'm really hoping to paddle steam the Murray in SA for our 25th wedding anniversary. So we've got two years to get it right!! Because we've got closed borders, not many of us go anywhere. Don't want covid, but definitely looking forward to more than just here. 💚👑
