About Me

Hi I am a 59 yo male, divorced with 2 grown sons, who are both married I have 4 grandchildren,, I live in the mountains of central Pa. near a resort lake in a very small town. Since my stroke, i have lost my wife, and my home, i was forced to move into my grandmothers home in a town of only 196 people, I Had my stroke about 5 years ago on memorial day weekend 2012, since that time i have had alot of problems with memory, and balance, I get confused easily and cannot multi task or complete anything complicated, I Have been disabled since my stroke also i have tried to work a at home job processing insurance claims but i just could not handle the complexiies of the job. I recently started feeling some signs of another stroke and found this site, i hope I can learn from others and prevent another stroke. I am fairly angry and depressed since my stroke I used to be a paramedic, and a ambulance captain, fire company trustee, and owned my own home helpers franchise, I lost all of that. I coached my sons basketball, soccer, and baseball teams, I also officiated at the college and high school level in basketball and baseball. now i cant do any of that and i am having trouble dealing with my uselessness.
