I drove to Florida from NH at the end of June this year to be supportive to my friend as she was awaiting back surgery -in the meantime I ended up having 2 strokes in August the 1st 16th and the 2nd 25th. I ended up in rehab and the bills have accumilated beyond my income. I am 3month post stroke and I am scared unsure of the lifechanges that have to be ade and I find myself emotional. I was sitting in a chair and wasn't feeling good, then I thought the TV was very loud and a buzzing noise was happening all of a sudden my face went numb on the right side I got up and began to walk or tried too vertigo began and I couldn't talk I began to heave and the next thing I knew I was on my back heaving when my friend turnd me and 911 had been called. 

Prior to the first event I wa use to being on my own driving and traveling and always available for others. I am now depending on another person to drive back home with me. I am grateful for the ability to have good days and bad days in that I am using the walker until I get so fatigued that I need to use the wheelchair.
