Nice guy just minding his own business until Christmas Eve, 2018, when I lost use of my right side while visiting relatives far from home.

3-1/2 weeks in 2 different hospitals, regaining some abilities.

Since then, I've gone from wheelchair to walker to quad cane to single-point to limited unassisted walking (as of 4/15/2019).

Still have a long way to go, but glad to be alive.
