Hello,

  My name is Ana, and I am a caregiver for my husband, Sam. He suffered a Hemorrhagic stroke in December of 2017.  We have four grown children, three still living with us. My days are pretty full, caring for Sam, as he cannot do very much on his own. His stroke occurred in his Cerebellum, so he has a lot of trouble with his balance. He has gotten a lot better over the last couple of years, though. I see his daily struggles to just survive and learn to walk again, and I am so amazed at his progress. We have been married 29 years, and he has always been such a driven, smart, man, and a high achiever. He was an engineer who worked a lot with his hands, and quite the handy-man around our house. All that was wiped away on that early morning in December, a day that had changed our lives forever. I found your website a couple of months ago, because I wanted to be in touch with others going through this journey as well. I don't feel so alone now, and feel blessed to connect with people who have gone through this scary time, and I hope to be able to help others too. You are all, truly, very special people.
