  5. AUGUST 14, 2007 I STARTED A NEW BLOG CONCERNING MY VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE SAEBO. I LEARNED FROM A DEMONSTRATION-LECTURE in NOVI, MI(MICHIGAN REHAB INSTITUTE)on BACK ON JUNE 14, 2007 I MET THE CRITERIA YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE GET DETAILS FROM http://saebo.com/. I checked carefully, Medicare B paid for 80%, it took only a few weeks to arrange/get fitted. Within a few tries, I am a 'tough case' I have very strong tone in my affected hand (left), I am using 'extra-strong' BLUE springs, I noticed within a few tries in one day I am able to 're-train' my hand/brain to grasp-release! Within a few tries I am able to release the practice foam Balls - that was the first time in 3 years, I cried! (with the help of the strong spring-assisted contraption, called SaeboFlex). THE Saebo-trained THERAPIST assured me I need a resting splint to prevent contractures in affected hand - device called SaeboStretch I give Saebo a Rating 10 thumbs up! I can almost do it with my affected hand! Saebo is right on target! The fabulous Steve Mallory taught me early on you have take baby steps, thereareNO OVERNIGHT FIXES; remember my 'tough' case. I have lot of TONE. every time I'm ACTIVE OR LAUGHING - its often! my affected hand clenches up.I thought I detected some improvementIf Saebo can help ME with LOTS of TONE, it truly works for ANYONE. The local Saebo-trained therapist are obviously trained well, I used the Web Site is Very Good to easily find a local Saebo therapist. Saebo is obviously well-organized and well-thought-out. i promise to faithfully/accurately report my experience to be helpful as possible to fellow stroke survivors, Till The Next Blog! If I understand correctly, make sure you correspond with Saebo concerning how to pay for it, Medicare B, etc. I found Saebo VERY RESPONSIVE to my emails and phone calls; of course I am not a GREAT COMMUNICATOR ALWAYS, being a stroke survivor; I always found a sympathetic ear at Saebo I give Saebo a Rating of .
