Proud Mother & Father!

Recommended Posts

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned before, our daughter Carrah is an artist.

She is nearly finished year 12, and would like to spend a couple of years concentrating on her art, with the hopes of being her career.

I am very proud to say, one of her pieces was entered into a Western Australian school wide exhibition, and it was selected to be part of the exhibition!

This girl continues to amaze!

Carrah also shaved her head recently for cancer research.

She raised over $1000!

Thanks Tracy!

Carrah turned 12 only a few weeks before This Happened.  She had to grow up very quickly.  She is very good at knowing what will help and what won’t, particularly when I’m doing something totally out of my comfort zone...like going down stairs at the school because the lift was broken!

So we have been to the exhibition!

Six hour bus trip there, and six hours back the next day.

The bus was fine, except for the stairs!

Carrah had a slight panic attack at the exhibition, but pulled through!

They have also updated the website.

If you scroll to the bottom, you'll see Carrah's piece.

Click on it, and it will bring up her name and artist statement.

I like the statement; the image really *is* thought-provoking.
