Hi Elena

So sorry about your mum.

I don't know of any apps personally, but there are definitely techno savvy people here who will be able to help.

You may wish to elaborate on your mum's deficits, so you get responses specifically for your mum.

Thank you Janelle. My mom is mostly struggling with depression, managing her calendar and remembering to do things, and just returning to the things she loved to do. When I'm with her, I can remind her and push her to do certain things, but when I leave, she then goes back to her old habits. She's not too tech-savvy but she can work with a smartphone.

I was hoping to find some sort of app or tool specific to stroke survivors that can help with these things.

My sister was using a "spoon management" app at one point that reminded you to do things and gave you points for goals completed. It was not stroke specific she has different health problems to me. Elena spoon theory is an analogy for energy management used by many for explaining the reality of chronic health conditions and how it affects daily living.  https://outline.com/F5xh5V

Maybe try this one

That is such a great example of what we deal with.

I have a lot of trouble explaining the spoon theory to people. It's much easier to read than explain verbally.

I hope you get something out of it.
