  2. Happy Anniversary JustSally!

  3. Livefeed of our nesting Bald Eagles from Berry College outside Rome, Ga. One 2 day old hatchling, so far. One egg yet to hatch. http://www.berry.edu/eaglecam/ Enjoy 24 hr coverage from the nest.
  4. My new plan is going fine, the weather is improving (which means I will be getting even busier), and my life is running smoothly. Even the Amazing Gracie is happy. Next month I see the doctor again and tackle the medicine problems (they really don't know what they are doing). Maybe after that I will feel better, too. My new landlords are good and treat me well. I still have a couple of "bumps" to work out but, they are not urgent. Sorry you don't hear from me as often but, that only means life is going well for me. I wish you all the best...keep smiling!!

    Changes

It is wet and cool here...so much better than most of the world has. We are not buried in snow and ice or burning up in a drought. I remember one year many moons ago when snow was shipped from the Chicago area to drought areas by truck. Maybe they should try that again. My own life is changing (again) and I am changing with it...I hope it's a good change (so many have been bad). I am busier, have more friends (some who actually help me), and a master plan. Try to be positive everyone...self pity does no good.

    looking back

Happy for you Asha. As tough as it has been for you...you've had it easy with a caring family around you and sticking by you. Have a good celebration.
  7. Hugs Sue. It's been almost 2 years for me and I still feel the loss. Hang in there...the pain isn't as sharp after a while.
  8. In spite of what the groundhog in Pa. says....Gracie did not have a shadow in our heavy fog. Phil has been wrong before (how could he tell with all those lights). So, whether 6 weeks or 6 days....Have a Happy February 2!!
  9. For the geography challenged....almost 7 New Jerseys could be fit into Georgia. Atlanta is a small dot near the top end of Georgia. States like Texas are even larger. Hope that helps.
  10. Almost every January there are water troubles. This year...the pump is being replaced. This is the second new pump in 3 years. Of course, it happens to be the coldest stretch of January and the new owners took over this past week. Yup...it's January! This should mean (along with other omens) that the year will end on a good note.
  11. How else could we meet new people and converse with them, get help, do research, get information, play games, read books and news, and generally...not be so alone! Cheers to the computer in it's many forms! It sure makes a difference in my life! One can pay bills, bank, and shop online. No eraser (and holes) to correct our misspellings. I can spell but, hit a lot of wrong keys these days. lol Yeah tech!!

    I understand now

Welcome to the real world, Kelli! You will do fine...learning is good for your brain. Congrats on passing your driving test. Apply for Medicaid...there is a chance they will pay your Medicare premiums. You will be a good example for your son.

    Birthday

    Belatedly...happy birthday!
  14. You people are great! Hostsue...some people make a career of whining. They even whine about good things. It's fine to have a downer you need to share once in awhile but, not every word out of your mouth (or fingers) should be a downer. We are all the epitome of the clown with a smile on the face but, tears inside.

    Im scared

How scary! Maybe an intercom to communicate with your dad when you need help? Nancy's idea was right on...list this stuff for the doctor to read. You might forget part or all of it by then or it might not seem as important. I hope you find answers.
