  2. Improving quality of life for stroke survivors

  3. My faith.... is why I would not do that. I completely empathize with people who want to... Too much pain...too much loss... Trust me... right after the 3 strokes I realized the cards I had been dealt... I thought about calling it quits. I could not walk, could not use my left side, legally blind, memory problems. As I say "I was stripped pretty good." Although my faith never waivered and I truly believe this was suppose to happen to me... and others who are touched by this situation. I am God's training tool. I would never have met anyone here... I would never have studied the brain, the heart and "stroke". I would never have felt and realized the pain and agony that is impacting those who have been touched by stroke and TBI. As a result of my situation and coming to Steve's stroke site... I feel spiritually compelled to develop a real stroke clinic - which will deal with all aspects of stroke. (Today's overall approach needs some help) If I didn't have one (or 3) I would truly not understand what it is to have a stroke. That is why I realize and say - that someone who has not had a stroke - can never truly understand what it is to have a stroke... sorry - but I know that is true. Not to worry... I have a plan to eliminate that problem. God gave me some wonderful gifts and I need to use them as he is directing me. Everyone here... and their stories and situations is contributing to the effort of what I hope to create. It will also be made available to those who are less fortunate. I listened very closely to your story... and my heart aches... but it intensifies my passion to get on with my vision... I am attempting to attract certain people in the medical field... and obtain the capital necessary to get this this thing airborne... Hope is a wonderful thing... but it is NOT a plan.... I want something more and better for people impacted by stroke. Also, please remember who and what the medical industry is... Since birth... we've all been conditioned to believe 'they' are always right... I think my horrible situation is a bit of a blessing... I would never consider ending it.
