Please download my article and read it to the end! Promise me you will read the whole article. This may be our last opportunity to be sure that StrokeNet survives. After you read this, forward my article in everybody in your email address book. Don't let the chain stop. Browse through this message board to get an idea of how important it is that StrokeNet survives. Read some of the testimonials at http://www.strokenet...ialsmanager.asp to get an idea of what this organization means to stroke survivors and stroke caregivers. I would appreciate it if you donate to us after you read my article. You can donate via credit card on-line or send a check via snail mail. The information is on our donations page. For your convenience the donation page is at http://www.strokenetwork.net/donation/. We desperately need your donations in order to stay in existence. We can only do so through your donations. If you are a business and would like to sponsor us you can do so by going to http://www.strokenetwork.org/sponsors/.

Hope this helps, Steve. STROKENETWORK is one-of-a-kind, totally volunteer-based and invaluable to us stroke survivors and caregivers. Time to put some $ where my praise for it has been.

Steve,
I'm taking the letter in to my store manager tomorrow. Hopefully he can get authorization from Bentonville, AR, Headquarters or our Regional Manager to provide donations outside the local community I'm a part of since I'm a staff volunteer for this stroke support group.
Two of us Greeters at my store had strokes and they have a great history of providing donations for organizations in the local community.

H i Steve.
Today I had the opportunity to get your plea to the ear of a congressman. One of the ideas passed back was grants.gov. I will update you in an email with further details.

Steve,
My store co-manager stated she would have to forward the paperwork (your download) I submitted to headquarters for approval of this nature and organization. I made a complete package including enclosures. Not sure if my store will fax or mail it for consideration by our headquarters in Arkansas.
All further replies on this subject will be sent to you by email or PMs once I get an answer.

It's been some time pass since there was any posts to this topic. Wanted to bring it back to the forefront and to anyone's attention who missed it. This is extremely important. It doesn't mean someone has to give their lifesavings or what they can't afford. Money must be raised to keep Strokenetwork afloat.

Hi, Would you be willing to register with MissionFish? I'm not sure how it works, but as an Ebay seller I can only raise money through my listings for causes that are listed with that organization. Along with making donations, I think Ebay would be a good place to spread Awareness. Thanks! Carol

You are amazing, Steve! Your letter was very appealing and straight-forward. I believe in you and The Stroke Network and with all of our help and determination and know we will reach the Goal that you have set! I am in the process of sending letters out for donations for the 1st Shrimp and Bull Roast for The Stroke Network. There are many examples that I will be able to use from your letter to solicit prospective businesses for donations. Keep up the good work!! Your sister.... jean
