I'm having a few rough days, nothing I won't get over....
Had a very Nice Thanksgiving. All the bakind done ahead of time and no last minute rushing.

Well I have been dreading todays Bone Density exam.... Last time I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I have been taking my vitamins, extra D, folic acid and calcium. Today's scan was better than last.. I still have osteoporosis but the numbers are better.
before I was a -4.1 today was -3.7. in my back and my hip before was -2.4 and today -2.1

Well you all know my daughter had surgery.. she is home and doing well.
On Saturday morning, we were going to take the dishwasher out and into the repair shop. John, started messing around to shut off the valve under the sink.. it was not shutting off right.. and who ever set it up, put the shut off in the wrong spot.

My daughter, Tracy and family moved 4 hrs away after school was out in June. Tracy's Dr is still here. She had an appointmentlast week and she was also have stomach pains. He sent her for an Ultrasound and they found gall stones. She had an appoiintment Thursday for a HIDA scan. They found the gall bladder was not working. We saw the surgeon Friday and surgery was scheduled for 6 am today.

Well we did go into town.. Stopped at the local appliance store.... they actually repair things there too. So Monday John is going to take the dishwasher in. We bough it used, but it is fairly new and a BOSCH it is very quiet and does a good job, so if we can get it fixed I would rather fix it. It is all stainless inside, being on a well the other would get discolored from the well water.

Well I am glad it's almost Friday..(ok it is back east) I think we may be hunting for a dishwasher.. ours decided to "die" on Tuesday night. at least it did it gracefully and was nice enough not to spew water all over the floor or something. Well I am recuperating from my "goat encounter" Last night I soaked my hand in Epsom salts... for about an hour after I was wondering why I had soaked it. ... Today it is better. and i used a rubber glove for part of the dishes, and cleaning the kitchen after dinner.

We think there is a mouse.. or mouse family under our house. I definately saw one of the little critters in my car engine. Molly one of my 3 minature pinschers, was laying at staring at the wheel well and would run to the other side of the car.
Min Pins were actually used in homes to catch mice, and rats in Germany. She is a real hunter. Her dad will spnd hours digging a hole if he smells a mouse.

I think the last time I Blogged I had been in ER. Well luckily that is behind me now. I did get my wedding rings re-sized.. The next time I realize I am swelling.. Rings OFF first thing. The reaction happened so quickly.. and I am a little slower Thinking now, it took a bit for me to realizie I was having a allergic reaction. I had never had one like that before. So I am sure (hopefully) I will be more aware of the signs coming on.

Last Wednesday I went to pick up my prescriptions. There was a display of Glucosamine with MSM. John had knee surgery and has some arthritis, and I do to along with some Central Pain Syndrome. I thought, well I will buy a bottle for us, fall is coming and maybe this will help us with some of our aches and pains.

WOW What a Labor Day Weekend Bessy and her husband Ed took an AmTrack train from Chicago to Seattle to come visit us.
They arrived Sunday evening... We met them and they followed us into "town" to check into their Motel. Then we all went out for dinner and visited for awhile.
It was great to meet them. We met them Monday, took them to see John's shop, had lunch and went for a ride for some "site" seeing. Then we came to our house .. 5 acres. So they could meet our animals. I
Wow it is so hard to believe August is on it's way out. My daughter and family moved to Eastern Washington, right after school was out. School will be starting in a couple weeks.

I just got back from meeting Asha, her husband, son and the friends they are traveling with. It was a quick meeting.. They are on their way back from Vancouver, Canada to Seattle and then they go on their cruise tomorrow.
We met at a gas station off the exit as it is easy off and back onto the freeway. The friends they are traveling with have friends a little South of me and they are making a stop their to see them also.

Well I have figured out the problems on my computer .. it was an update from Norton. So I have Windows Firewall on, and Nortons Off, the regular antispam and antivirus seem to be working fine.. I have also downloaded FireFox and Netscape for alternate Browsers.
I have a Dell so also ran the Dell Support (on lline program). I went to the Windows Site.. they have a free trial and a 90 day Free Trail of an online PC Clean Up tool. I think if you want the full version after 90 days it is

The weather was really pretty nice. I got 2 of the planters on the porch planted. I filled the 3 hummbird feeders. One little guy came in the house.. he flew right back out. Then came in again.. Luckily he stayed by the slideing glass door.. he got behind the vertical blind but I was able to guide him back out.

Well it has been a bit challenging the last couple weeks. First an ear infection that tried to knock me on my keister... literally. My balance is not always 100% to begin with, but with one ear clogged and shooting pains, I was tripping over air and my own feet. Well thankfully that is in the past now.
We have had the material for the new floors for the kitchen, laundry and the small bathroom off the laundry room. Since they all run into each other i wanted the same flooring.

Okay ... yesterday was beautiful it was in the low 50's and all I needed was a light jacket.
Today I woke up to 3 inches of snow and it is still snowing. the tracks in the drive way from my husband leaving for work are already covered.
We have had more snow this year than I have seen out here in 30 years..... the news is saying 46 later today... YEAH RIGHT . We do live 100 miles north of Seattle and we are in what they call a convergence zone.
