i had a stroke but i try to play it down- it was more abrain version of a broken legbut i never broke my leg - i guess that hurts - my stroke didnot hurt at all- but it has left me seriously annoyed
a winter's day
amanogawa bark gleams silver in the sun
ble sky but a cold north wind blows

i look out of the window and wait for spring

when you destroy a marrige you also destroy a family- often for self ish reasons- when my wife - soon to be ex sestroyed our marriage - and i'm glad she did- she destroyed -a family in the process- the damage willl last a long long time- as long as our children live- nothing to do with strokes - i grant you - but a stroke makes you think more and moreand perhaps look back more and more
of course, you poor americans can never have decent hot curry----- the other day a few friends took ne out for a currry- chcken vindaloo- best time i have had in ages ots of beers- good time had by all
where would we be without our mates/ friends- ithank god for mine
when i was in hospital iwas visited by my - so to say- spiritual teacher- who asked me if the words patience and acceptance meant any thing to me
now they do- except when i run out of anti depressants
spring has nearly arrived in england - daffodils are up - snowdrops out- crocuses too
but its still v coldand tried to snow today- in fact it' s succeded- i'm not walking on it
