It seems almost all my entries are about Teddy, but quite frankly Teddy is really the one thing I can discuss without getting too negative. Anyway, Teddy is very very protective of me whenever someone comes and knocks on the door he usually gets very upset, especially if I am in bed. Transition from military life to civilian life can be very difficult, especially if you go 'cold turkey' i.e. you don't have a military base nearby to get your military life fix. Retirees from the military have one of the shortest lifespans post military. I can attest to that :bop: . However I think I found the answer, life out of the military is a lot like running a business. You have black lines and red lines. And the objective of the game is to eliminate as many of the red lines as you can. :

After yesterday's wild trip, Iwas ready to take it easy. But then there is Teddy. I took him out early, and when the Activities Director showed up Teddy jumped in the car and was ready to go. Yesterday was my 3 year mark since my stroke and my 53rd birthday. Last year I just wanted to be left alone. However, this year I decided to take my birthday back. Ever since my stroke (as all are well aware) it seems so much has changed in me personally. I used to watch The Food Network, most of the time. I have not watched it since,I would much rather watch Court TV and Cops is my favorite. :Clap-Hands: Well after almost 2 months I finally got my chair back. Now I have to get used to this one again. I guess if a Munchnin ever shows up here they will have a chair waiting for them. Teddy had mercy on me and only went for a very short walk this morning. There is always the afternoon walk though. It semms I walk him now more than I did before my stroke. Just being with him makes me feel better.
