one of my pet peeves

I remember when I was still in a wheelchair and I went shopping with my sister, We went into a shoe store, I needed new shoes. My sister was pushing my wheelchair and a salesperson came up to us and talked to my sister over my head as if I wasn't there. He asked what we needed and my sister told him that I was the one who needed shoes. He proceeded as if I wasn't there and asked her what size of shoes I needed. I was so angry. Right then and there, in front of this abnoxious guy I told my

I can do anything. . .

I used to make my friends laugh because I always said "If I want to do something, I will find away to do it and if I don't want to do something, I have a great excuse not to do it" In my 30's I joined the the boy scouts more precisely the cubs. thank you

Hello everyone and thank you for your comments. I might sound like it was a breeze but it wasn't. I made a lot of mistakes that I am paying for today. But life goes on and we try not to repeat those mistakes and enjoy what we have. If anyone needs questions answered or want to know anything about my experience, please feel free to send me an IM , I will be more than happy to tell my story about how I did or did not do things. Thank you for reading me.   Marie-Claire

I was 30 years old, I had been divorced for 2 years. That morning , the alarm went off and I had to get up, get the kids ready to go to their sitter and me to work. I realized my left side was completely numb, no problem, this had happened a few times in the previous weeks so I just stayed in bed a few minutes more until it went away. Before getting the kids up, I jumped in the shower. I went numb again but this time I was rattled, it had never happened to me twice in as little time before.
