if walking is part of your new goal have you ever tried to do this?when you walk?
hello members well as you know i have been walking twice a day now and i spend about 20minutes per day going for a walk and what i found makes walking east is to swing your arms as you walk for one it is very good for balance so when you step with your right foot you swing your right arm and your shoulders and if you start to move your left leg you then move your left arm and your shoulders it is how you use to walk befoire the stroke and after you get in the habit of swing your arms left then right you will find that not only is it better for balance but ypiyour walking will start to feel normal and look normal but there is still one more thing to work on and that is lifting the knee kinda like marching now you may need a cane to do this in order to work on lifting the left knee up but thats okay what ever works for you and once you try to bend your left knee you will be using the muscle that your brain will start to recognize how to move , and have you ever notice that when you do use your cane that your arm will swing without really thinking as your right leg starts to step well thats what we are aiming at to make it automatic for the left arm and leg doit without thinking and of coarse remember to stand up straight as you can so you can see where you are going so stand up straight and left leg move left arm swings and visa vwersayou keep that up along with lifting the knee up don"t try to walk fast just take your time and concentrate on lifting your knee up if you found it to hard not to worry try it with a cane get in the habit and it will get easy you might not look good walking but it will come till you do keep up the great work and all the best in your recovery and with weather like this get walking and get your health back will make your stronger get your healthy nothing but all good
