NEW GOAL FURTHER AND FURTHER ALL THE TIME

well members just to let you know that i am always looking ways to find new goals to keep me active and t5o help in my recovery well you know that i am now walking twice a day however it was only take me 10 minutes to walk twice and i was thiinking what should i do to keep me busy for the day so i decided to increase my walk so now i did just that now when i go for a wallk i want to get better at endurance so now i walk only once now but i added more distance now when i walk what use to take me two times 10 for 20 minutes of walking now i take 45 minutes to walk so i have added a considerering distance to my daily walk , and of coarse i always use my left hand when washing my hand in hopes of getting the use of both hands, ans soon i hope with all the distance that i have added to my walk i am hoping to start training for a marothon so it is all about the next step and always tring to find a way to moveforward by added a new goal and to never give up hopefully you will be reading in my blog about me just finish another marathon , never give up

Lenny, you are a sportsman at heart, I can tell by the way you want to move forward, step up the distance, improve your times. I wish you luck in returning to marathons.

 

Some of the memebers of our stroke support group go to Sydney for one of the longer competative walks and just try to beat their own best time each year. Each one who finishes is a winner anyway as we all know here.
