recovery is slowlike the turtlebut its coming just pat attention
hi there this is just a friendly reminder on stroke recovery and just how slow recovery can be , like the turtle it is coming but not swift like the gazel but slow kinda like plodding along like the turtle but come it does but you need adiary to catch the blur , but i must tell you what happen to me that i notice and you must remember i have been 10 tears recovery and still i use to have to wait in order to put my bathmat down on thefloor because i just couldn
"t reach that far down to put it on thefloor but now i do it akll the time and it is actually very easy to lay down thebathmat flat on the floor and to pick it up so the dog won"t get it now i know thast it is a small victory in the scheme of things but hey after 10 years and still getting better there is still hope, so if you just pay attention or better yet write it down so that you can make a list of what you could"t do now but now you can, and i bet the list is longer that you can do then it is of what you can"t and just so that you know i don"t like to hear i can"t do it i think it has a far to negitive sound to it what i prefer to say is you know i still can"t do that YET!!well little by little you will start to progress getting stronger and stronger and going further and furtherand now when youtry to doit that use to be a choir and the reminder of just how bad you really are well and then it dosesnt seem like a choir and you start to realise that its not that bad a recovery is like the onion you have to peel the onion to find who you are and just what you have accomplish and i bet that you will find that you have acco, plish alot so like the turtle you will just keep on plodding along you will get better and you will recover but you have to strt now do something set a goal to complete lets bring in 2012bring it in with a bang lets make the year of stroke survivers to recover and then make a list of what you could"t do YET but now you can all the best in your journey of recovery
