Thankful for making it to my 60th Birthday!

I had a wonderful Birthday and was so grateful to have it! My family rallies around me in support for all the things I have regained since my stroke! I wish that all of us could have the support that I have. I have the support of all of you! And I am grateful for that too!

I had a type of Physical Therapy in December that helped me greatly. It is designed for Parkinsons patients but it helps stroke patients too. It is called LSV BIG Therapy I could find out more if anyone is interested. It helps to "open up" the muscles that have turned in and are trying to stay rigid. It also taught me that there were things I didn't know that I didn't know like how to catch a ball or pass things behind my back. I was surprised by what I didn't know and it made me wonder what else I didn't know. I had to stop for a while as it was a bit much after a while. My body can only get pushed so much before it rebels. But hopefully I can get signed up for it again. Wishing all of you Hope and Strength! We don't quit! :thumbsu:

Welcome to a great community of bloggers. We are all here to help each other and there is so much wisdom and support here.

You sound as if you have a lot of good things happening, funny that gratitude tends to release good things into our lives. Yes, it is nice to reach 60 and maybe 70 also, Ray will be 70 this year, I have to wait a few years to see.

Look forward to learning more about you and your journey as you blog more about your life.

Sue.
