I Phone and Siri

I am writing under William. I was under Ruthpill. Sorry i have not been to chat. My bible study is on Tues nights for awhile. But, It will go back to THurs soon and then I shall return.

Siri and William . It is hilarious. But, he is learning. I just tell him to ask Siri for help. The I phone is really nice. Of course we are still learning. I have the old fashioned one and Wm has the new smart phone. HE still laments that this phone is not as good as his old flip phone. I patiently remind him that it (the flip phone) died.

WE had the work night Friday night. Wm was up every hour. Some BM problem. then on Sat it continued. IT is no wonder that he is too tired to go to church this morning. But, that gives me time to check in here. Yes loads of laundry yesterday. Some aberration in his GI tract. Just got his urinary tract corrected with the prostate surgery and now this happens. Luckily, it has passed.

Work is as busy as ever. They have me working 5 days of the week. I did enjoy 4 days of the week more.

Note: You really do have to have to ask for a tiering request for your drugs that are on formulary and they copay is too high. You will not get a copay ruduction unless you ask. It is possible to reduce the copay sometimes. Not always , but when you can it is amazing. But. you need to ask.

My days are so busy. I get up at 4:30 AM and get ready for work. I walk the dogs before I leave. I get to work at 5:30. and I have my breakfast and read. I bring my nook for an hour of uninterrupted reading. I am in heaven. Nobody to bother me. I open the doors of work at 6:30 and start the computer and start reading e-mails and such. It takes about 15 minutes to bring up the compter screens.

I bring lunch from home. We get 30 min for lunch.

I meet Wm at the therapeutic pool for his 30 min of therapy. I have reduced our workout time to 30 min. We walk for 15 min and do wall exercises for 15 min. 200 in and out with the arms and 15 forward and back with each leg and 15 to the wall and out with each leg and 15 reps of up and down with each leg and I pull the left leg out and in with a noodle and the belly to the wall and out. We do this quickly. We have it down to a science. This keeps Wm from experiencing any pain.

Drive home at 5 or 5:30 thru rush hour traffic takes about an hour. We get home around six and I fix dinner and walk the dogs and then settle down for a little couch potatoe time. That does not last long. If I have any energy left I try to make it to the gym for my swim. But, I have cut that down to twice a week. Then early to bed 9 or 10P. To resume the next morning

Wm is sometimes good and lets me get a full nights. but some nights it is hard to stay up and get up every couple of hours and then make my 4:30AM target.

All in all life is good. I am not energized to clean the house or the garge.

I bought dog stairs for the little ones to use to get on the bed. They are just starting to use it.

I got an ipod touch for us, which does everything except the phone calling. I don't want to pay for the phone bill on one, since we wouldn't use that much time. Anyway, Bob is able to hold it with one hand and read on it, and have put the free aps from lingraphica on it and 3D wooden ball (name ain't quite right, it's a game where you try to get the ball past holes till you reach the ending hold, on a tilt board. This looks like 3D wood, really!)

I'm happy for you William and do hope you get better and some of what you lost with the stroke back real soon. It does require hard work daily to recover anything at all!! I'm getting there but slowly for ten years now!!!!!

Ruth so happy to hear from you -- organized as always --- you and debbie , i have no idea how you do it all…. i have aspirations to return to work and am confident when and if the right job comes along, it will work itself out… i interviewed for one - the offer- less than a third of my previous job… at that rate i would pay the caretaker more than i would be getting paid. so pass on that. God be with you lady, you sure are a inspiration...
