Hello all,

Must mention that I'm a little or way too drunk to write this down but...still...I know it's been ages since last entry but...still..there I go, must update the status somehow...and couldn't wait for this...=) great news...

Grandma got rid of her NG tubing on last friday, the 26th of Sept,on her 55th day of the stroke...that was my mother's push over the doctors...proving that grandma can swallow more than enough...anyway, she triumphed....she persuaded the doctors that grandma can swallow...well, grandma is being discharged this week, the last confirmation being her blood tests...they will see if she can leave the hospital with spoon feeding and related blood levels, etc...she will probably succeed in that...

Grandma was out and about in the garden of the hospital on saturday...I knew it since my mother texted me with a photo of grandma on a wheelchair, without the bloody NG tube outside...I will post that photo somehow later this week...bless her, she looks like she's fought a war in the last 55 days then...bless her...wish I'm as good as a fighter as she is...and all of you out there...and everyone...

Well then, let's see what happens when she gets home tomorrow, on her 58th day through her 02.August.2014 stroke...

Come on grandma...you deserve more...and you know it...and everyone loves you as a person...as who you are...not with what you've achieved or couldn't achieve.

Cheers,

Cagin

I'm so happy for her!    This is a very big and wonderful thing.   I remember when Bob has his, forever dangling from his nose and how happy it was when they said he didn't need it.   He reached up and pulled it right out, much to their horror!  They kinda expected to be the ones doing that, ha, ha.
