A few days ago talking with a family member she was complaining about all of her aches and pains and I said to her well my philosophy is those aches and pains and I feel everyday are simply a reminder from God that I'm still alive and she said to me OK Pollyanna and then proceeded to try to explain to me the reference of Pollyanna H and I and unfortunately she did a very poor job of explaining it (like I don't the reference) personall I would rather be Pollyanna and have a positive outlook towards life then negative energized being wallowing in her own self pity I've tried that it didn't work for me

The story of Pollyanna is a beautiful tale about living life to the fullest with a positive attitude,without anxiety because of faith and hope,and a drive to share inner light with others in a way that leaves a mark,makes a difference. I have always disliked her poor reputation of being an unrealistic,childish fool.

What is wrong with believing in a little miracles in life. Even if they do not come true, perhaps we are helped by hope and changed into gratefulness for what we have. That negativity is there but we have a choice to believe in the positive. Without that,I would feel stuck in the gloom of the dark forest that comes to us all at some point because of life.
