Today it was a Ferris wheel ride
I went to the hospital early because I had some work I had to do online and I realized there's free Wi-Fi at the hospital and money still really short I couldn't even afford to stop and have a cup of coffee on my way down there but then I thought well the day room that I hang out and always has free coffee free coffee free Wi-Fi and a quiet place to work life is good then I talked to one of the nurses and she said well we only have one stroke survivor laughed and I said what happened Coker was discharged yesterday but Susan still in here and she's being discharged Tuesday I thank you for that is giving me that heads up I was like take the opportunity to say goodbye one last time when I know they're being discharged so I stopped in the room to see how she was doing and she says well just a little anxious I said about what I can't wait for Tuesday when I get out of here so of course I made a big deal out of that and I joke with her that Dorothy had it right and she said call yeah there's no place like home she says I'm even clicking my heels she had ruby red slippers on I said yeah but they're only the color will be there at Rubys must be why its not working we laughed I wished her well and to keep a positive attitude the next couple days I'm actually looking forward to Tuesday morning cuz I'm in ground of a hospital first I'm going to make sure that I get her a card before she's discharged I am happy for her so I was riding high on the ferris wheel with the good news about my friend but the downside of the ferris wheel was finding out that another one of my patients was discharged without me knowing about it ahead of time.
Be blessed and be a blessing.
