OK World, here we come. Hans sailed through his arteriogram and the placing of stunts in his artery like it was childs play. I was worried about him having to lay for so long on his back in order for the puncture wound to clog properly and not bleed. Wellllll They do a new procedure now and close that hole in the artery with a stitch. It's called Perclose Procedure. Even the hospitalist did not know about it and was getting upset that the nurses had let Hans turn on his side only two hours after his procedure. I showed him the brochure and he was amazed that our Dr. Sullivan was using this procedure here. It is brand new. See - God is so good, I was worried for nothing. He had a whole new procedure on the horizon ready to be used on Hans. Silly me.

Well, we even went to visit some friends today. First time ever (since the stroke)we have gone anywhere just to visit. It felt so good. He got tired very quickly but at least we went.

Maybe we can slip into Church and sit in the Cry Room and then leave before it is over - to avoid the crowd. Oh, how I miss being in services. It's nice to sit here and listen to Dr. Stanley but that is not like hearing our own people sing and our own pastor preach the word.

I really feel good tonight. cloud9.gif

The crying room is a great idea, we had a man in a wheelchair who used the crying room at one of the churches I used to go to. His wife even left a thermos of coffee in with him. She sat with her friends in the congregation but went in to him if he needed her.

Great you went visiting, isn't it good to do something you used to do every now and again.? And good friends do understand and appreciate short visits.

Hope Hans continues to improve and the sun shines on your lives once again.
