I'm in the circus!
Juggling, that's what I do! Today was one of the normal juggling acts I've had to take on since Robs stroke. It started with oversleeping, and Elias being late for school. Work was predictable, however we're having a financial audit this week that is requiring a lot of my time. My day was interrupted by Rob needing phone numbers from me (am I a walking telephone book?) and also asking me to make a Dr appointment for him. Then the phone call from Elias asking to be picked up from school because he had a melt down. Picked him up, delivered him home - trying to provide some support in the upside down world of this young boys life. Asked Rob to if he could help with Elias, and his school melt down. Rob hasn't been very involved with "parenting" since his stroke. He was very concerned about the Dr appointment I was suppose to make for him tho. Drove back to work - finished meeting with auditors. Back at home, Rob had made dinner WOW! The evening ending with Elias being much more settled, and we have a plan for how to tackle his problem at school. Another day in the circus has ended.
