Two more days and still not ready for Christmas. The kids are so excited and it is fun to watch. When my girls were small it was my present to watch all the glam and glitter in their twinkling little eyes. Now I get to do it again. I remember not being ready for the holidays then too. And somehow everything still went just fine when the day arrived. I am not going to get in a "Mood" like I see so many other people in. I love to celebrate the birth of Christ, and be with family and friends. It can be the most wonderrful time of the year if you let it be. We have friends that have no family near and are coming to celebrate opening gifts and Christmas dinner with us. You would think we gave them the crown jewels. They call everyday with some new gift they bought for the kids or something about dinner..... They are such good people and I love them very much. They couldn't have children of their own and now have become Aunty and Uncle to my kids. Oh they even spoil the dogs. (Santa has even brought them gifts.) Speaking of dogs, my youngest bio daughter is in for the suprise of her life. She wanted a pup and asked if it would be alright if she could get one. The problem was someone to watch it while she worked. She had him all picked out and everything. She decided not to get him because she did not want to add to my busy life. MY hubby and me went and bought him and she will have a little chihwawa(SP?) on Christmas Eve. He is the most adorable little piece of fur. Normally I prefer large dogs, but he has a large attitude and he is only 6 weeks old. I am sure he will fit in with our labs. Our oldest lab is so gentle with him and plays a good role of daddy. The hardest part os keeping it a secret from her. My mom and dad watch him at night after she gets home from work. We almost messed up last night. She pulled in the driveway as I was taking him up to moms house. Thank God he fits in my pocket just fine, and doesn't whine as long as someone is holding him. I stood in the drive talking with her and my hand in my pocket over the pup. I am not sure what she will name him but we have been calling him Goliath.

I am hoping to make it to the party tonight but not counting on it. That time of night here is usually pretty busy. Peace of mind, Peace of heart, and love to all. Merry Christmas and a Happy and Blessed New Year. happydance.gifbiggrin2.gif

MM,

What the t-shirt has been soaking all this time and will be wasted??????

If you don't make the party, we all understand, and it sounds great at your house. Hope christmas day is a wonderful one for you. Give the puppy a kiss for me.
