If It's Not One Thing It's Another...

I haven't blogged in a few days...It's really amazing how the fatigue affects the body. I had a few things happen. I received the 30 day heart monitor, the thing is irritating has heck :angry2: . It's not a 24 hour continuous monitor, but instead a 24 hour push a button in as needed if I feel racing, discomfort, etc. etc. Problem, I never said the racing or discomfort was on a daily basis just sometimes maybe daily maybe not. There was nothing I could say ever contributed to the chest pain I could be just lying in bed and it happens and may last a few minutes. A 24 hour monitor would have been sufficient to me I think if there is problem it probably exsit with or without symptoms. If I would have never had a stoke I would have never found out I had a hole in my heart.

Thing is with this monitor I thought would do recordings that were continuous maybe picking a irregular rhythm before the pain during the pain and after. I noticed while I was in the hospital I glaced at my montior a couple times and noticed a heart rate of 170's-180's while I was lying in the bed, so I don't even know if the nurses ever told the doc, when I questioned the nurses they simply said they SILENCED the monitors because they kept ringing and I was asymptomatic. :yadayada:. I wear this thing 24/7 reguardless if anything happens or not. If something happens I push the button and it does a 60 sec recording :yadayada: . Now my problem is I know everyone is familiar with the red dots (or little stickys) on their skin. They tend to leave circles, rashes, and irritation to the skin. No matter what I use to clean the area it fades when it's good and ready. :angry2:

I scrub and scrub and now my skin is irritated from all the scrubbing. Now i'm scratching and everything...believe it or not these are the ones for sensitive skin :roflmao: . I guess I will have to get the pediatric leads let's see what they do to the babies skin.

I had to wear one of those monitors for three days and it was all I could stand. It itched so badly I almost lost my mind. I can really sympathize with the thought of wearing it for a month.

ps

and didn't it figure that in those three days I only had one episode, and therefore was unable to be diagnosed with tachacardia, even though I know I have it.
