Thought you'd like to see where I live in England

Lovely to visit a very positive sounding Trev today, we had a lovely time just chatting about the future. We talked about his return to his woodturning hobby,we shared the hope that he could come home for our wedding anniversary on 6th August...we'd both love that even if it was only for a few hours.

We also talked about another big thing...me learning to drive which would be the answer to all our transport problems. I took lessons a few years ago but just didn't get on very well. I am too nervous a driver, the gears just seemed so foreign to me. Anyway we've decided that I'll take lessons again BUT it will be in an automatic car (automatic gears)...so watch this space  I'm nervous about the idea ...but if we want to go out to visit family etc...I need to drive.

It's good to see Trev really almost back to normal making plans for the future. Just wish the local authority would hurry up & get the ramps sorted out so we can be together again. It's nearly 8mths post stroke now.

Please remember our family tomorrow as it's 2 years tomorrow since my dear Dad passed away. I still miss him. He died after a long illness in which he was admitted to a care home for his last year of life.

Oh Chris - thanks for sharing the photos of your home. What a lovely place. I wish I could come and bring my dogs and walk with you on the peaceful path.

Good luck with the driving. I don't like to drive, but Denny is happy as a clam not having to fight the traffic anymore.

Sending you good thoughts about your future with Trev. Hope you have a moment to think about the good times with your Dad.

Can we do a little fishing from the bank? I see water, I think fish! Ought to be some big lurkers in them there waters. I got to practice one handed fishing, I can cast out but can't reel them in.

Thanks for sharing those lovely pictures - Your home looks so peaceful, and just a place we'd all like to call home -

Sorry for your loss, and your dad will be in my prayers

When I came home 20 yrs. ago, it was for my 1st weding anniversary @ age 39, and being home not only lifted my spirits, but really put my PT in a GO MODE as there is no place like home -

If they won't budge on getting ramp for Trev, as you have the law on your side, put a little pressure on by calling the Town Hall - its the law and all exits and entry ways MUST be accessible signed into law by ADA
