Well I decided that I would go back to work and today was my first day. I was awakened by a phone call from my neighbor, who I also teaches with me, informing my husband that there was no water. Is this an omen or what! I made the best of it by washing my face and brushing my teeth with bottled water. I told my husband that if anybody told me thst I looked good, I was going to tell them that they were lying and why--my hair was a mess.

I parked in the back of the building by my room and slowly made my way downstairs to the general meeting( I use a cane when I go long distances and in my room will go w/o). I was welcomed back by the principal and got a round of applause from the staff. It really made me feel wonderful. The meeting started at 8:30 until about 10. Then walked back to my room to get ready for tomorrow.

I worked in my room til about 1:30, then changed clothes and went to do my exercises in the fitness room with a fellow teacher. Got home around 3 and still have a few things to do for tomorrow. All in all it was a good day, but I'm sure I will sleep good tonite.
