Today I wwoke up and thought "I shall try no to get over anxious today.I want to go through a day when my stomach is not turned inside out and My head is not on the verge of exploding..Just today.So far,so good but it is still early.I'll tell of the results tomorrow

good for you!!! keep us posted, heather! Try to remind yourself to take deep slow breaths when you feel anxious...it can help.

taking antidepression medicine can help immensely for anxiety, initially I thought those anxiety was more excrucinating than actual troke. though after on it for 2 years, now I am working on weaning myself off.

 

I also read lot of spiritual books and concentrate on ton of positive things in my life

Do you like to listen to music? Maybe you can find some CD's of soothing music or sounds. It always helps me calm down or at lease distracts me from what I was getting anxious about.
