Duh, dumb me. I knew your parents were going to visit and wondered about that but........just to make sure.

They will probably be happy weatherwise. So far, days in this area are pleasant, mornings a little chilly. We will be getting colder weather in December and I don't relish that.

Right now half of me wishes for the storms that are promised but the other half wants good weather because I am waiting for a visit by 2 people in a private plane- rain= visit delayed.

They had rain just about the whole way from St. Louis to Georgia...then it was clear down rt 95. They have no desire for rain right now!!

Knew I was missing someone and that something didn't seem quite right . Glad things are okay and that visits went well. If you want to post pics, we'd love to see ( The pictures aren't in the public domain - I looked it up - you have to be a member of StrokeNet in order to see them )

Are you sure about that public domain thing? I just logged out and came back as a guest and I could access our gallery with no problem. Maybe Lin will come along and clear up the mystery in this. She's the gallery moderator among her other titles/duties around here.

I think you can block BLOGS from guests seeing them but I don't think you can block the pictures...I think Jean is right. I can post pics of my kids and stuff but my sis freaks about stuff so I couldn't post pics of her and the new baby...

No worries - just like to see the cuties!

Jean - I am going to ask Lin about this - there is a box to check when you are creating you gallery that you must check if you want to allow other users to see the pics, but it does not specify - you also have to choose to place your gallery in the member gallery, but having said that, there is no other choice to put your gallery in!

So I will defer this question to the lMIS lady of Strokboard and see what she says - I'll let you know the answer/options.

If you add your photos as an album through My Controls, you have the option of selecting not to have the photos available for non-members to see.

If, however, you add photos direct in the Gallery they are automatically available for anyone to see.

If you do a search with a search engine the photos will not show up. You have to actual go to the board and find the Gallery in the drop down menu and search manually for a photo.
