I started driving again. I ran out of gas the other day because my gas gage is broken and I didn't know it.

 

Then today I was thinking I might be low and stopped for gas. I couldn't get the gas cap off.

What's that old saying?...If it wasn't for bad luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all!! The positive side is, you are driving again after all this time. Congratulations! You can get another gas cap from a parts store and a gage installed fairly inexpensively.
