Belated Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a good day yesterday. We didnt have snow but it was -5c, so very frosty, which looked like snow! Today is another crisp, bright sunny day. On with the coats,hats and scarves and out for a walk I think.

I had a good day. The first time for three years I felt able to do the dinner with out much help. I still needed someone to lift the turkey out of the oven, and lift the pots and pans. I was able to do much more pre christmas as well. Mind you my right arm does ache today, but a small price to pay.

I slept for some of the afternoon after dinner. I missed the film Monsters Inc on the TV. I managed to catch Vicar of Dibley..it was so funny. It has Dawn French in it as a vicar.

Hubby bought me a voucher that you can exchange for various gifts like a day at the races, aday learning falconry, visit to vineyard and wine tasting.....I can choose. I said "oooh I fancy juggernaght driving"(very big articulated lorries). He said "you can if you want but I thought you might like the spa and pampering day!" I think he and the kids despair of me.

I am about to go on the website to have alook what they have. I will let you know what I decide.
