Dear Rolly--I loved reading your blogs on food. I was on tube feeding for 9 months. I love food! I started eating real food in August (I was "cheating." I told my dr. and he said the way I was "eating" was safe. My daughter-in-law makes the best homemade tomato soup and she makes a turkish dish called ju-ju. Both dishes are the best and they are, of course, liquid. I would dip my finger in my helping and rub it on my gums and get the taste and then swallow). They removed my tube beginning of October, right before my son's wedding. I had been eating normally since I think September so I was ready.

I worked in the hotel industry so I could eat the scrumptuous food! So getting back to real food was quintessential for me! Take Care. LK
