Little Sara

Sara is my youngest granddaughter. She will be four in May.

I didn't get to bond with her because of my stroke like I did the others.

I can really tell the difference. She throws fits when I'm around, treats me meanly,

and is thoroughly anti-Granni. When I had to pick the girls up from school she started

screaming and crying so I had to literally pick her up and stuff her in the car.

I'm hopeful that I can break through her resolve. I just thought I'd share because

I think this is a common complaint.

kids try to push to see how far you will let them go, you have to be firm, and tell her loving way, this way is not going to be tolerated, My son who was 7 at the time of my stroke gave me hard time, but with my love and hubby's strong support I hanged in there, now he is 9, we are good friends, though he still pushes my buttons from time to time, but atleast basic respect has returned.

so just hang in there, love will make the way.
