Well here in Southern Ontario we are digging our way out of the snowstorm of the year(the first real snowfall we have had)! Here in Oakville, we rec'd about 2 feet of white stuff. I have just stayed in the house - no going out in this stuff (until tomorrow).

Well, last week I had my first ever swimming class with one other swimmer and she doesn't like the water. But she lost her footing sending both her and myself for a tumble - thank goodness we were in the shallow end and her face went in. Volunteers were nearby but busy talking so were not there when we went under. We got back onto our feet and she was scared (I remember the feeling the first time I went under). Got her to catch her breath and cry if she wanted to and she did. Afterward she was okay especially when I said to leave all water in the pool (she swallowed a bit) as we need it to float. Broke up laughing, which is what I hoped she would do.

All said and done we had a great time together! Hopefully we will again tomorrow.
