Where is that stupid groundhog?

Okay ... yesterday was beautiful it was in the low 50's and all I needed was a light jacket.

Today I woke up to 3 inches of snow and it is still snowing. the tracks in the drive way from my husband leaving for work are already covered.

We have had more snow this year than I have seen out here in 30 years..... the news is saying 46 later today... YEAH RIGHT . We do live 100 miles north of Seattle and we are in what they call a convergence zone.

My ear infection is getting better.. the antibiotics are kicking in. It is not 100% yet, but i can at least chew with out it hurting and it is starting to pop and I can hear out of it better.

I am sooo glad I went to town yesterday, had some errands to run... banking, one dog to the Vet. He isn't sick, it's time for vaccinations. The Clinic we go to has wellness checks on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 2 to 4. They get a check by the Vet and their vaccinations with only a charge for the vaccinations.

Havng 6 dogs I do their regular vaccinations my self, but they need to get rabies at the Vets office.. only $17.50. I like the Vet there, she is so sweet and really good with animals. The staff is Great also.

It is easier for me to take one or 2 dogs at a time..lol Muggsy did pretty well, but as soon as we walked into the Vets office, he Knew something was up... he was definately not impressed with having his temperature taken, as soon as the themometer was removed he promptly sat down.. and gave us a dirty look as if to say ... okay thats enough of going there. lol. he was not even impressed with the treat..

Ok 2 down and 3 to go.... Tasha is 16 yrs old and I am not going to put her through this... she sleeps probably 20 to 22 hrs of the day now. She is happy, eats well, goes outside, in no pain. she is just getting to be a really old lady. She doesn't leave the yard so I don't feel it is necessary to do anything more thank keep her happy at this point. We must have done something right.. she is a Malmute cross and to get to 16 yrs old is quite surprising for a large dog.

I had to go outside with the broom and clean the satellite dish off.. the snow covered the little receiver thingy....

well guess i will only go out today to brush snow off the dish...lol..... My daughter lives 40 minutes east and they had some hail and rain, my husband drove 17 miles north to work... and it is sunny......

it is still coming down like gang busters.... where is that ground hog... i'm going to shove his head in this snow.

Your talk about Mugsy made me think of the Dr. Dolittle movie when Richard Preyor has the dog at the vet and the vet took his temperature!

Sorry about your "snow" day. I heard lhat night on the news here, Phoenix area is in for early Summer. In March we're to hit 90's and in April will hit 100. Ouch!! Look out electric bill - we even keep thermostat set at 85 during day. When Kristi came home from Cheer practice, I told her....she (the stinker) predicted we'll hiit 130 as a high. Yikes and Yuck. I hope she's wrong.....

Okay in that case i will keep the snow.. and NOT complain..lol.. I can do cold better than heat. I can at least stay in and warm.

I am not even great here when it hits the 80's.....

The sun has come out and the snow is melting. a guess some snow and or showers for the weekend.

Hi Bonnie,

We did not get any snow yesterday north of the 49th...in the 'frozen north'.

This winter has been exceedingly strange.

Hi Bonnie,

After posting the above message I got up from the computer to get a second coffee and ...

IT'S SNOWING!!!...AND STICKING!!!

I should know better simply because I was born on Ground Hogs Day!

Kind regards,

Dickons
