Yesterday I made it up a hill; I call it The Fox Hollow Hill. Let me explain. The last time I made it up that hill was roughly 19 months ago. It is a long steep hill and it comes at the mid-point in my ride so I was not real fresh. Nineteen months ago I spun up that hill with a cadence of 75 and in a mid-range gear! Yesterday I made it up in the tiniest gear my drive train has to offer with a cadence of roughly 30 rpm. (That can be decoded using the StrokeBoy Super Secret Decoder Ring as

If I could, I'd give you a standing ovation (standing and clapping comes under the multitasking lol) Way to Go on the accomplishment as well as having such a supportive family.

You are riding a simple bicycle up the Rocky Mountains????? When I was in Denver and Boulder, I saw people ride their bikes up the mountains seemingly in an effortless manner. I marvelled at their abilities. I used to ride (BS) but I am from the Flatlands. There is no way I could attempt those mountains (NOT hills).

Your blog is so descriptive, I imagined and "saw" Fox Hollow Hill (I love the name, BTW). Thank you for that moment, it was lovely. Take Care. LK

PS: Did you tell the Coyote he was on the wrong hill? That hill was for foxes. (Sorry, couldn't resist...and my friends put up w/ me!)
