Bud's Surgery

Budweiser

Bud had surgery on May 2, 2007 for his ruptured ligament in his knee. There are pictures of the last week (May 3 - 10, 2007). His leg/knee looks really sore (it was/is) but right now he is looking good. The swollen has come down and the colour is looking great (no red/blue/bruse). He is looking for like him self. He is walking with a limp but they say it could be 3-5 months of recovery. I just need to walk him very slow and with a short leashe. This week he will get the stitches pull out and more x-rays by the end of this month (check it over).

Bud is one tuff cookie.

Oh Bill,

Poor lovable Buddy. I wanted to give him a gentle hug and kiss. Glad to hear he is making good progress. He'll be back to his old self in no time.

(((hugs)))

Yes, he is a tough cookie (or should we use the word cracker for a male? LOL) I think he looks great. I'd still be hiding in the corner.

Bill,

I don't know if the order of your pics depicts the time since Bud's surgery, but I loved the way you have inserted them. Just like us, it looks like that first picture is saying "please, just leave me alone". By the last pic he seems to be saying - "ok Bill, let's get on with this recovery business". Thanks so much for sharing Bud with all of us - he is so very special!! Just like his master who shows us what love is really all about.

Hi Bill,

Happy Dance! Bud is on the mend good thing the winter is over so only sunny days for Bud to rehab his leg and get his strength back. Hiding his face when the ice shows up is cute - I can imagine him saying - no - no ice Dad and then being the good boy he is accepting it as something he has to do.

Cheers,

Dickons

Bill, you have to be a happy care giver knowing Bud will be alright. May be the two of you will be able to get in a little walking therapy real soon. :happydance:

Glad Bud is doing well. I see from your photos that he and Cooper have something in common...they've both taken taken over our couches. :)
