gallstones

I have to have my gall bladder taken out on the 13th. The doctor is going to try to do it laporscopically(Spelling) but theres a 40 % chance he won't be able to because of scar tissue so then he'll do it the oldfashioned way.

My daughter is coming for a few days but she is going home the 12th. I don't know what she is thinking.

She didn't come when I had the stroke either.

Good luck to you . Rachel just had hers taken out about 3 weeks ago. She spent 8 days in the hospital. Hopefully you will be same day surgery. That's the norm for the laproscopic.

I had mine out by laprascope. Emergency.. surgery wasn't until 6 pm. I was out of the hospital 8:30 am. I was a little nauseaus from the anesthetic (but I always am) for 2 days. I could get up and walk.. and other than the nausea I did fine. Be careful what you eat for awhile after. Any dairy or fat and I did get diarrhea. I had to take lomotil for a bit, especially if going out to eat. It took awhile, but my body adjusted to no gall bladder and the problem went away.
